Greetings from Los angeles! I’m bored at work so I deeidcd to browse your site on my iphone during lunch break. I really like the knowledge you provide here and can’t wait to take a look when I get home. I’m shocked at how fast your blog loaded on my cell phone .. I’m not even using WIFI, just 3G .. I must admit, I don’t use PS brushes often enugoh. Sometimes I want a certain effect, but forget to install brushes like these, so I scan stuff in instead. I may give these a try, thanks Franz.Andrew Kelsallb4s last blog post..

@Ulrich: Das mit der Trennung von Programm und Profil ist schon sehr vorteilhaft - nur sind die “Neuerungen” bei Thunderbird doch recht spärlich gesät. Die Weiterentwicklung verläuft sehr “zäh” und die Möglichkeiten der Spamfilterung bzw. die Trefferquote selbst ist bei Thunderbird “unterirdisch” (jedenfalls in meinem Fall). Ganz im Gegenteil zu Google Mail: Jeden Monat kommen neue, selbst brauchbare Funktionen dazu - jeweils individuell aktivierbar. Der Spamfilter funktioniert fast zu 100%. Die Oberfläche ist schlank, schnell und austauschbar … Daten sammeln hin oder her - natürlich bleibt dort ein fahler Beigeschmack, doch sollte Thunderbird nur annähernd an die Möglichkeiten von Google Mail herankommen, bin ich gerne bereit TB mal wieder eine Chance zu geben.

Würde mich ausserdem mal interessieren, was TB zu diesem Spamvolumen sagen würde … ;)

Hi @ all!

Toll beschrieben wie das geht! Die Idee finde ich grundsätzlich gut, aber ich würde mir überlegen ob ich ausgerechnet Google meine kompletten E-Mails zur Verfügung stellen will. Schließlich verdient Google sein Geld damit, Daten zu sammeln…

Hier kam das Thema Thunderbird + Neuinstallation auf: Thunderbird trennt die Nutzerdaten (Profil) strickt vom Programm. Wenn man also vor der Neuinstallation den Profilordner sichert und danach wieder einspielt hat man auch (s)einen trainierten Spamfilter wieder (neben allen Kontoeinstellungen und E-Mails).
